“How long before my shingle roof is done?”, is the most asked questions from anyone getting a new roof. Suncastle Roofing is known for getting your roof done in the quickest amount of time possible!
1. First Day – Roofers will get started by tearing off the existing roof & underlayment and replace any decking if needed. Next, the roofers will begin to install the new underlayment. Once the new underlayment is installed, the roofers will install 30% of the shingles. Once roofers get to this point, they will stop due to city/county inspections needing to be commenced.
2. Second Day – Once inspections are approved, the crews are notified and will return to the home to finish installing the remaining shingles. Once remaining shingles are installed, a final inspection will be ordered and you can begin to show off your new roof!

In addition to their attractive appearance, asphalt shingles have a long lifespan and are among the cheapest to install, saving you money on labor costs. I can’t wait to see what you have to say in the future. Cheers!
I think you are right about how the first day will consist of roofers tearing off existing shingles. I have about 20 shingles broken. I’ll have to consider hiring a roofer to do all of the patch work for me.
